no individual mandate you have the privilege to pay a fortune as a penalty in order to not pay a fortune for bad healthcare. think of that. is that a good thing? i don't think so. we got rid of it. it's gone. you know how many people have come up tome and said thank you very much for getting rid of the individual mandate ? sounds so nice. the individual mandate is wonderful, i'm acting presidential. the individual mandate. it's a disaster it sounds good. like the affordable care act was not affordable. remember when bill clinton got up and said the problem is the affordable care act is not affordable and then you didn't hear from him for two weeks because he got the hell knocked out of him by crooked hillary. dead silence. they wouldn't let him out of the house.

[applause] the women's unemployment rate, is the lowest and only 65 years. not history. sorry! it will be - - 65 years. 65 years. within two weeks with the next time this incredible statistical group is released, i thinkprobably the women will be historical . i think so. but in 65 years, i'm doing my best. the women have been great. and i think they are incredible. they have a harder job than all of us fellows, let me tell you. and we did great with the women. i remember on election night, they said how did this happen? remember they were giving you phony numbers on that too. the veterans unemployment rate has reached the lowest level in 18 years. more than 3.5 million americans have been lifted off food stamps. [cheering and applause] more than 4 million americans will receive job training under our new workforce initiative.

manufacturing, consumer and business confidence has reached the highest level in the history of our country. i'd say that's pretty good. [cheering and applause] confidence is a good thing. having confidence, what do you think? having confidence is good. if you have confidence and you know what you're doing, you can't lose. that's a great stat. the most confident, in the country. it's great. the united states is now a net natural gas explorer for the first time in nearly 60 years and pennsylvania workers are leading the way. i don't know if you even know that. [cheering and applause] now that we have the best economy in the history of our country. this is the time to straighten out the worst trade deals ever made by any country on earth at any time.

[cheering and applause] >> in the numbers just released, the reporters didn't cover this one. to me, it was better than the 4.1 because we will be doing better than the 4.1 as things go. for the first time, maybe ever, the trade deficit just fell. think of that, for the quarter, $52 billion. . nobody reports it! why don't you report that? just fell by $52 billion. and because of our economic planning and our charging taxes on tariffs to all of the dumpers of steel all over our country

america's steel mills are boring again. our country is being respected again because we are finally putting america first. [cheering and applause] >> we've eliminated a number of job crushing regulations. i went through the united states from the unfair and very expensive for our country, paris climate accord. so unfair. that was another great ripoff. republicans just past the biggest tax cuts in the history of our country. [cheering and applause] the democrats want to lift them way of their dream ever that when you go to vote, they want to end your tax cuts and lifted up so they can waste your money

on a lot of nonsense. and very importantly, we saved our family farms and our small businesses from the estate tax, also known as the death tax. no longer the death tax. no longer will they pay the estate tax. our family farmers. the individual mandate is gone. the penalty is gone. the association - - by giving us and allowing americans to join forces to buy much better healthcare for a fraction of the cost. you can go across state lines and negotiate with everybody you want to negotiate with. [cheering and applause] we've invested a record $700 billion in our military and

$716 billion next year. we are rebuilding our military with the finest planes, the finest missiles, the finest ships anywhere in the world. we had to do it. [cheering and applause] and they are all made in the usa folks. in that case, much less important but there's nothing as important as protection of our military. the only time it's secondary is jobs. because all of this equipment and brilliant planes, we have a backlog we make the greatest military equipment in the world. we make the greatest jets. the greatest ships. the greatest missiles. we have the antimissile missiles that shoot down missiles. many many miles away in the sky like a needle in haystack.

they shoot them down. hard to believe. we are surrounding our country with them by the way, if you don't mind. remember when other countries said we don't want you to put defensive missions and missiles in your country. you don't, explain that to me please? remember? they used to get angry when we put defensive missiles, antimissile missiles in our country so we wouldn't do it in no sense, will put them in if you don't mind. i directed the pentagon to begin the process of creating a sixth branch of the united states armed forces called the space force. very important. accountability law. now - - mistreats or neglects or steals or does anything bad to our great veterans, we turn to them and we said, , you are fired! get the hell out of here! [cheering and applause] got to do it. maybe most importantly, 40 years they tried to get accountability. even more, i wanted veterans choice. or if a veteran is improperly served. if they have to wait 3-5 weeks. can you imagine the doctor says come back in 22 days? people that were not ill and there being terminally ill because they can't see a doctor.so they've been trying

to pass it for 40 years. i signed it a month ago. veterans choice we are veterans, our great veterans. if they have to wait, they go outside. they go to a private doctor and we pay the bill. [cheering and applause] i withdrew the united states from the horrible and very expensive and adeal that didn't work, the iran nuclear deal . and i hope everything will be fine with us and iran but i will tell you, they are a much different country than they were four months ago. i also recognize the capital of israel and we open the american embassy in jerusalem. instead of apologizing for america, we are standing up and we love our country and we are saying we have a great country. we don't apologize anymore. we are standing up for the heroes who defend america. we are proudly standing up for our national anthem. >> members of the trump administration's national security and intelligence team talked about there efforts to combat election interference by foreign entities including russia. they spoke at today's white house briefing. >> as director of national intelligence, i would like the american people to know that the intelligence community and all of its agencies are postured to identify threats of all kinds against the united states. the present has specifically directed us to make the matter of election meddling and securing our election process a top priority. and we have done and are doing that and will continue to do so. we have incorporated the lessons learned from the 2016 election and implemented a broad spectrum of actions to share more information across the federal government, as well with state and local governments and also with the public and private sector.

the intelligence community continues to be concerned about the threat of upcoming u.s. elections. both the midterm and the presidential election of 2020. in regards to russia's involvement. we continue to see a pervasive messaging campaign by russia to try to weaken and divide the united states. these efforts are not exclusive to this election or future elections but certainly cover issues relevant to the election. we also know the russians tried to hack and steal information from candidates and government officials alike. we are aware that russia is not the only country that has an interest in trying to influence our domestic clinical environment. we know there are others who have the capability and may be considering influence activity. as such, we will continue to

monitor and warn of any such efforts. i am committed to making sure the intelligence community is working together and integrating across organizations and missions in seeking greater transparency with the public. the - - has instituted a broad spectrum of action covering collection, analysis, reporting, education and partnerships. all designed to provide the best threat assessments to federal, state and local officials as well as to the public and private sector when necessary. for example, my office leaves the interagency working group now meeting weekly as a push towards november. the department of justice, fbi, department of homeland security, cia and nsa all focus

on election security and integration of our efforts. the intelligence communities focused right now on persistent support to the fbi, the department of homeland security and other agencies and their election responsibilities. my office is insuring these organizations receive timely and proactive intelligence community support. >> in the run-up to the helsinki summit, u.s. officials, nato ambassador said the president would raise the issue of maligned activity with president clinton. he didn't discuss that. at least at the press conference with usa today that the present has directed you to make the issue of election meddling a priority. how do you explain the disconnect between what you are saying, his advisors, and what the president had said about this issue? >> i'm not in the position to understand fully talk about what happened in helsinki. i d
